King Khan gets anti-smoking kit

Mumbai: An NGO gifted an anti-smoking kit to the Bollywood king Shahrukh Khan to help him in quitting smoking.

The NGO spokesperson told media that Khan expressed his desire to quit smoking in a recent interview.

Taking the initiative, the NGO sent a nicotine replacement therapy kit along with a booklet, containing the information regarding the damages of smoking.

Islamabad under attack. Suicide bomber's target was Silk Bank, I-8 Markaz

 ISLAMABAD: A security guard was killed and three others injured in a suicide bomb attack on a private bank in Islamabad's Sector I-8. Suicide bomber tried to enter the building and upon resistance from the guard blew himself.

SSP Islamabad Tahir Alam confirms it was a suicide attack.

Twin bomb blasts kill 50 in Peshawar

PESHAWAR: Twin bomb blasts at a crowded Khyber supermarket killed at least 32 people and injured more than 80 late on Saturday, Geo News reported.

The explosions took place in the Khyber Super Market, which is surrounded by residential flats for students, shops, a fruit juices kiosk and a hotel.   

According to reports, at least 32 people were killed and more than 80 injured in the twin bomb blasts. The condition of several injured is said to be critical.

Shoib Malik hopeful to be part of national cricket team

Sialkot: Former captain of Pakistan cricket team Shoaib Malik is hopeful to find his place in national cricket team.
Talking to the media, Shoaib Malik said that he is practicing hard and paying full attention to cricketing ability.  His continuous struggle to regain his form kept him away from French Open where his wife Sania Mirza was playing matches.
