Mumbai: An NGO gifted an anti-smoking kit to the Bollywood king Shahrukh Khan to help him in quitting smoking.
The NGO spokesperson told media that Khan expressed his desire to quit smoking in a recent interview.
Taking the initiative, the NGO sent a nicotine replacement therapy kit along with a booklet, containing the information regarding the damages of smoking.
The spokesman said that if Khan quit smoking, it would send a positive message to his fans, particularly to youth that would give a boost to anti- smoking campaign.
He also hoped that bollywood producers would not represent their heroes in movies while smoking because it gives a wrong message to their fans especially youngsters.
