Shoib Malik hopeful to be part of national cricket team

Sialkot: Former captain of Pakistan cricket team Shoaib Malik is hopeful to find his place in national cricket team.
Talking to the media, Shoaib Malik said that he is practicing hard and paying full attention to cricketing ability.  His continuous struggle to regain his form kept him away from French Open where his wife Sania Mirza was playing matches.

SC orders removal of IGP, DG Rangers in 3 days

ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court of Pakistan (SC) ordered on Friday to remove DG Rangers Sindh and IG Police Sindh within three days, Geo News reported.

The SC Thursday took suo moto notice of cold blooded killing of young man by Rangers personnel and summoned DG Rangers Sindh Maj. Gen. Chaudhry Ejaz, Sindh Chief Secretary Abdul Subhan Memon, IG Sindh Fayyaz Leghari and Provincial and Federal Home Secretaries for today's hearing.

A five-member larger bench of the SC headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhary heard the case.

Two Rangers men handed over to police

KARACHI: Rangers authorities have handed over two of its personnel to the police involved in the extrajudicial killing of a young man in Karachi outside park Wednesday evening, Geo News reported.

Six personnel of Sindh Rangers were in the mobile deputed outside the park and can be seen in the video released late Wednesday but only two of them were handed over to the police.
