The famed actor, Mastana died due to an illness in the Victoria Hospital in Bahawalpur, on Monday.
Mastana was suffering from Hepatitis C. He was shifted to the Victoria Hospital on March 22. His children tried raising funds for their father’s treatment but were unsuccessful. Despite appeals by family, friends and fans neither did his co workers nor did the government provide financial support for the treatment of the actor.
Mastana who had been in the industry for 35 year made people laugh by his performance had now left them in grief. His funeral prayers will be held at the central funeral place in Bahawalpur.
Mastana was widely regarded as the king of stage and theatre acting and his legacy will carry on for years.
