Pakistan will decide later Tuesday if fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar is fit enough to return to the team for the World Cup semifinal against India on Wednesday.
Current and former Pakistan players have been calling for the experienced Akhtar to be restored to the team in a bid to unsettle India’s batsmen.
But captain Shahid Afridi says Akhtar is “not 100 percent but he’s trying his level best and we will decide this evening.”
